When marketing execs at Apple saw this homemade iPod commercial on YouTube, made by an 18-year old student Nick Haley, they asked their agency TBWA/Chiat/Day to get in touch him in order to do a professional version of it. The new version will air this Sunday in America.
Apple fanboys like Mr. Haley certainly make a strong case for consumer-generated content, but I wonder how many consumer-made Dell or Vodafone ads there are out there…
