Interesting thought. I definitely believe you could use the iPad as a collaborative "ideation" tool, especially if you connect multiple iPads into one "working space" for briefings, brainstorms, etc.

I really hope someone invents a "creative space collaboration tool" or something.

Understand. Don't get me wrong – I really like the idea of using iPad Technology and the briefing scenario. I am an Art Director, so kinda read over a couple of creative briefs in my life. Some were good – some were bad. Sometimes a great headline helped me to create outstanding visuals or pictures, sometimes it was just a number or a little scetch.

Now, when I look at the iPad again, I am asking myself, if this technology could create another "more visual" "briefing environment" to – sort of – PLAY THE CREATIVE BRIEF. If so, how do the elements look like? Is it text, cards, visuals, picts, whatever? What if "creative briefing" is becoming a crowdsoured avtivity? Why not integrate data and conversation in real-time?

Of course not. But defining a strategy isn't only about creating content. The iBrief idea is about using only those elements which are necessary for a crystal-clear brief.

Cool Idea, but Leon, do you really think that with moving and dragging things around you actually create relevant content? I was just thinking about something similar and hopefully could bring that on my blog someday soon. The blog post will cruise around the question; How do you brief creatives for Social Media or User Engagement?

Would be nice to hear your thoughts.
