Isn't it funny that so many of us involved in creative business have pretty much the same sources of inspiration? My guess is that if you interview 100 creatives, many of these things (TED, Apple, Woody Allen, New Order, Joy Division, Wired, Eeames) will show up time after time...

Maybe it's just a good foundation that you can mix up with other more obscure sources?

Couldn't agree more, but I don't think we need to worry too much. The true social media experts are the youth of today so as long as we improve creative education these tools will simply become the mediums they use for the expression of that creativity.

This is quite true...what has been our experience as planners in Nigeria, is that client's refuse to assume leadership of the marketing process. The result is that often the agencies get blamed for lack of holistic results, which could not have been delivered solely by advertising...

I love the Idea Rooms - it looks a warm, cosy, comfortable place with lots of character where creativity could flow. There's just something more homely about the Idea Rooms. Best of luck

Interesting thought. I definitely believe you could use the iPad as a collaborative "ideation" tool, especially if you connect multiple iPads into one "working space" for briefings, brainstorms, etc.

I really hope someone invents a "creative space collaboration tool" or something.
